The Illawarra Registrar’s Report on the 2017 All British Day

With thanks to The MG Car Club Sydney Illawarra Registrar Michael Hough.

Hello to all of you reading our website! I have put this together as a special website-only initial report of my experiences attending the All British Day at the Kings School on Sunday the 27th August.

I have attended this event fairly regularly over the last 10 years, and from that experience I can state that the display numbers are GROWING and the number of cars in 2017 was certainly greater that of the equivalent 2016 event!

I am a member of a number of classic car clubs. This year I attended as a member of the Jaguar Drivers Club of Australia in my 1962 Jaguar Mk 2 saloon. (The classic TF was sulking at home.)

I would like to share with you some photos of British cars I found interesting, and they are mostly NOT MGs, as I have deliberately saved up the MGTF Classic photos taken at the All British Day for my October 17 Opposite Lock report, which will be published separately to this photo set.

Enjoy the photos and I strongly recommend going to this event next year!

Michael
