Renewal of CVS

  1. Complete Classic Vehicle Declaration and Club Declaration. Include a photocopy of your current pink slip and registration renewal
  2. Pay the club fee of $20 to the club treasurer (St George Bank Limited, BSB 112-879, Account 043811680 and make sure to include your name/nature of transaction on the deposit). Include a copy of the receipt with your other paperwork or a cheque made out to the MG Car Club
  3. Submit forms to the plate registrar by post
  4. Plate registrar will stamp and return Classic Vehicle Declaration to you
  5. Pay the ACMC their $25 fee plus $5 for return postage – by cheque or Money Order made out to ACMC at PO Box 419 Bexley, NSW 2207 or direct deposit to ACMC NSW Ltd Bendigo Bank BSB 633-108 Account No. 157374299. Please ensure your EFT payment is identified with your surname
  6. Send the Classic Vehicle Declaration stamped by the MGCC and a photocopy of your pink slip to the ACMC for their sign off. Send both forms to the above mailbox (Express Post recommended). Include a copy of your EFT receipt.
  7. ACMC will return the stamped Classic Vehicle Declaration direct to you
  8. Take stamped Classic Vehicle Declaration document and original pink slip to the RMS
  9. Post a photocopy of your Certificate of Conditional Registration to the plate registrar

NEW Application for CVS

  1. Complete Classic Vehicle Declaration and Club Declaration.  Make photocopies of inspection report (blue slip) and compliance Certificate (engineer’s report)
  2. Pay the club fee of $20 to the club treasurer (St George Bank Limited, BSB 112-879, Account 043811680 and make sure to include your name/nature of transaction on the deposit). Include a copy of the receipt with your other paperwork or a cheque made out to the MG Car Club
  3. Submit completed paperwork to the plate registrar by post
  4. Plate registrar will stamp and return Classic Vehicle Declaration to you
  5. Pay the ACMC their $25 fee plus $5 for return postage – by cheque or Money Order made out to ACMC at PO Box 419 Bexley, NSW 2207 or direct deposit to ACMC NSW Ltd Bendigo Bank BSB 633-108 Account No. 157374299.  Please ensure your EFT payment is identified with your surname
  6. Send the Classic Vehicle Declaration stamped by the MGCC along with a photocopy of your blue slip, your engineers compliance certificate and EFT receipt to ACMC at the following address: ACMC, PO Box 419 Bexley, NSW 2207 (express post recommended)
  7. The ACMC will sign, stamp and return the Classic Vehicle Declaration to you
  8. Take your original documents including the Application for Conditional Registration (Classic Vehicle Scheme), to the RMS along with any previous NSW registration documents and plates, and your personal identification for payment and issue of the new Classic Vehicle Scheme plates. The RMS will look after your participation in the log book trial which is a requirement for the MGCC Sydney
  9. Email or post a photocopy of the receipted Certificate of Conditional Registration to the plate registrar
