Run to Retford Park Bowral
Hosted by Michael Hough and the Illawarra Register
The tour will start at 10:30AM at a cost of $22 per head payable to Michael Hough on arrival.
This is a truly lovely residence and grounds bequeathed by James Fairfax to the National Trust. Tours are run by the trust, and as the accompanying photos show it’s an incredibly beautiful place.
Each tour of the house is limited to 20 persons as it is conducted by a tour guide, and we need to be at the house and ready start by 10:30AM. Please aim to park in the grounds of Retford Park no later than 10:15, as it’s a five minute walk up to the house.
The address is Retford Park, 1325 Old South Road Bowral NSW.
A café and shop are available at the end of the tour. As an optional extra, we will run into Bowral for lunch if you would like to stay on.
This run is very popular and sold out quickly last year. As at mid-June, we already have bookings filling up. Please contact Michael Hough at [email protected] to book your place. Ron Critcher is travelling overseas and will be an apology for this tour.
