1948 MGTC
This car has been partly restored but unfortunately I have to sell it due to health issues.
It needs the doors and scuttle top refurbished, the panels fitted, the guards fitted, filling and painting, the interior installed and other bits completed.
The motor was rebuilt by Northern Machining Service in Adelaide but has not run. It has a Clive race cam, reconditioned 1 ½” SUs (have original 1 ¼” SU’s as well), Moss rear main seal, modern starter motor and a solid-state ignition system.
I have fitted bigger front slave cylinders, Datsun 240Z drums, new stub axles, panhard rod, Morris Minor diff, Datsun steering box and Moss rear axle seals.
The interior is red and was bought out of the UK 25+ yrs ago from Connolly Brothers. The seats and panels are assembled and ready to install. It has black beading – I was going to paint it cream. The soft top is new old material but water marked.
I have almost all the chrome bits, and the radiator surround and headlamp shells were done recently.
Plenty of spares are available, including brake drums, diff, gearboxes, block, lights, guards, original panels
