1971 MGB Roadster
Beautiful, rust-free and well running 1971 MGB MkII with overdrive fully registered to Apr 27.
This MGB has been used reliably as my main car since I bought it from a classic car enthusiast deceased estate in April 2021 (in Kellyville Sydney – name of previous owner available upon request). Since then, I have added some improvements suited to using the car year-round in all weather and traffic conditions:
- Battery isolator switch
- Michelotti fold-away hood frame (came with older model pack-away hood frame)
- Replaced heater tap
- Added electric radiator fan with switch (for heavy traffic in 30 degree summer heat)
Mechanically sound with some initial uplifts after I bought it (new alternator, choke and handbrake cables, distributor, rocket cover, spark plugs, brakes etc) and has been serviced at least annually. Some minor oil leaks usual for this age of car noted in servicing without need for repairs.
Selling as I retired, got a puppy and wanted a car for us to go camping in, but have only one garage space.
