Photo Gallery: Mid-Week Muster to King George IV Hotel

Our July Mid-Week Muster, hosted as always by Bob Parkinson, saw us head to King George IV Hotel for a catch-up and a bite to eat. Ingo Weinberger has kindly sent through photos and a few thoughts on the day, which you can enjoy below!

We met at the hotel on a stunning and warm winter day, catching a few mid-morning rays and enjoying a chat before lunch from the hotel’s on-site food truck. The hotel is slowly recovering from flood damage, so as well as the opportunity to get together this was a chance to support them and help them get back on their feet.

Read on for a few thoughts and images from Ingo.

July 2018 Mid-Week Muster to King George IV Hotel

We had a good turn-out of members and MGs to this month’s Mid-Week Muster, even if those MX5s are becoming popular!

Bob arrived in his white MG6 with Bob Best and Bob Dabbs. Ana (no cake today?) and Jacques Valente brought a four-legged friend. They’re off to Europe shortly – I hope their weather is as good as ours. David Arnold with his ex-Queensland red TD was a very welcome addition to the day.

We enjoyed various fare from the George’s kitchen, although I could and would not go past the Wednesday special of a steak, chips and salad with sauces for $10.

I always enjoy the drive up Razorback, and it was especially pleasurable with a clear road. A lovely day all around!

On a separate note regarding the Shannons Classic on the 12th of August, I have two tickets left at $20 each. Any takers?
