Photo Gallery: Old Speckled Hen Run to Campbelltown Steam & Machinery Museum

For 2018’s National Motoring Heritage Day the Old Speckled Hen Run took a scenic drive to Campbelltown Steam & Machinery Museum in Menangle for their ‘Oil, Steam & Kerosene Family Fun Day’ weekend. Ingo has kindly sent through some photos, which you can enjoy below.

As is tradition for motoring runs, we met at McDonalds. From Narellan we took a short but scenic drive through to Menangle to explore the museum’s collection of steam and oil engines, trains, tractors and family entertainment. Making the most of a spectacular autumn day, we enjoyed a picnic lunch or sampled the various food stalls at the event.

Ingo notes; “I have to mention the ex-German Army Kuebelwage, VW mechanicals and World War II transport complete with equipment, including an original jerry can – they were about when I was growing up!”

Thanks to John Lindsay for hosting and to Ingo for photographing the event!
